Dvd recorder

Anonymous	Posted on Monday, May 16, 2005 - 03:38 GMT I would like to buy a dvd recorder and it says that it records on (dvd+r)plus discs -- yet the portable player says that it plays standard dvds and dvd-r == so will it work if I put a recorded dvd in the portable player?
