Okay here goes. I have been looking at tv's for so long that my poor girl was losing her mind following me into every Best Buy and Futureshop across Canada. Just a quick not on BestBuy. They suck and are unwilling to do anything better than the price tag. I got this tv for a great price at Futureshop with the 36months no interest\equal payments of.
Just incase anyone else was wondering, if you live in a basement or wish to have this tv moved to an insanely huge bedroom upstairs the pedestal comes off with ease.
So after looking at Sony LCD's, Toshiba, Mitsubishi, Panny, Hitachi LCD's and plazma I decided on a Samsung with the HD2+ chip. This model being the ONLY one of the kind in Canada...yay.
HD looks as good as my Uncle's Sony plasma, I set them up side by side. SD is clearer than I thought it would be but can't compare to the plasma. I looked out for ALL those issues everyone kept bringing up with Samsung, Lip sync, Smudges ect. This set was manu this year and I dont see any of that.
Overall great tv, you'll love it. The price is finally right!
