I currently have a $3000 dollar card with a zero balance at www.tweeter.com Could you give me some advice on the best tv I shoudl buy from there. Plasma, LCD, or DLP? I walk in there and the sales people are alllll over the place on what I should get but they are SELLING me and not advising me. Just thought y'all could help.

thanks

Since you have to get it from Tweeter, I would suggest one of the fine DLP TVs from Samsung or an EDTV plasma from Panasonic. For $3k the best deal IMHO is the Pioneer 4312 from Costco if you can still find it.

So something like this... http://www.tweeter.com/product/index.jsp?productId=1819459

My local store also has this... http://reviews.cnet.com/Samsung_HL_P5085W/4505-6485_7-30898679.html?tag=pdtl-img

Does anyone have an opinion over one or the other?

Boy! I've been hunting for a while.....
My pick is probably the Panasonic 42" EDTV Plasma PH42PD50U, or the Samsung 42" EDTV Plasma #4251. I know what people are saying about HDTV, but if you watch tv from 10' away, you can't tell the difference between these sets and a $5000 Plasma. These sets will display non HDTV signals much better, and the viewing angle is what sells me on the Plasma's. Soomeone tell me if I'm all wet, because I'm not just going by the price, I've been dragging this decision along for a long time, and I can't come up with anything different.
