just had the Runco installed and hooked up to my DVD player (the DV-45) via component input. I tried to select the 'progressive' button on the DVD player to send a progressive scan signal to the TV to see what impact that would have on image quality for DVD playback, but it won't accept the signal (it splits the screen and shows a double image). Will only display when playing DVDs when progessive isn't selected on the player. What am I doing wrong? Is there some sort of incompatiblity w/ the Vivix processing on the Runco that doesn't take a progressive scan signal? Am I better off just sending a native signal from the DVD player and letting the TV do all the processing work? Just trying to understand what is the best option given how much I've invested in this TV
