There are also players from Panasonic and Denon. Check this site:http://www.hometheaterhifi.com/cgi-bin/shootout.cgi Buy letterboxed DVDs. This will reduce letterboxing, but depending on the aspect ratio of the movie, may not totally eliminate it on certain DVDs.

The door of my DVD player does not stay closed..Even when i close the door and hit the play button, it opens and remains open until i close it. The DVD player will not play any DVD's b/c the door continously opens when we turn it on. I bought a CD/DVD disc cleaner, but it doesn't help. What should i do?
