Posted on Yes, it's true! I bought ULTRA 1000TX Monster component video cables and tried to hook them up between my 30" widescreen SONY TV (KV-30HS420) and my DVD player. The cables connected real easy to the connectors on the back of the TV. However, connecting the cables to my DVD player was a whole other story. The DVD player is a SONY DVP-NS575P. It is actually an imported player (made in Malaysia that is multi-region and also accepts 220v/110v. The connectors on the back of the DVD seem to be too small, and the cables aren't hooking up firmly. They're very loose. Can it be possible that those connectors do not conform to the standards? Or am I doing something wrong? Thoughts anyone? |
