Alot of people with Samsung DLP's have this issue, I called Samsung and they said there is no work around. I have lost faith in DLP after possible auto sync, gaming delays, smudges, curved corners....again your LCD alternative has its downfalls...blurring, greys instead of black blacks, you just have to weigh whats important to you..i am gonna go with LCD.

The Samsung HL-P5067 DLP has no A/V game lag whatsoever. It's currently the only Sammy model that works flawlessly with PS2 and xBox with any connection. Some 63 and 74 owners are pleased with component cable connections and progressive scan mode on their game boxes. It only works with games featuring progressive scan, though.
Toshiba DLP's have a "game mode switch".
Take your game box to the store and check for yourself.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Regarding the synch issues with Video games, after 1 week of phone time with Samsung -
Derek Banks the product specialist who tests games on the Samsung TV's told me that ONLY the HLP5067 is really tested & verified to be lag free until the new HLR models come out.
