Hi, I recently bought a Sharp LL-M15X1U LCD Monitor with Tv tuner. This has an antenna input, as well as AV , S Video and rgb input. I have been trying to connect my satalite box via the RF 2 from the box to the Monitor but cannot seem to get a signal at all even though power is getting through from the box. I have it connected to the antenna input on the LCD and have had distorted pictures of other channels come through but nothing from the satalite box. Where am I going wrong? Thanks!

Sounds like you are hooking up to an analog tuner.

Oh no! Something I never thought of! My old tv works fine in the same place tho?
What's the best solution?

Thanks!

Just thinking off the cuff, I bought this LCD in the US and I live in London. Still should work shouldn't it? Even tho we are PAL?

LCD TO SAT CONNECTION
Seems like i have a similar problem. just bought a panasonic 22'' LCD for the bedroom. i have coax running from my sky+ in the living room to the bedroom. Plugged the cable into the RF socket (as i had on my old tv) and can watch terrestrial channels no problem, but no Sky!
Any ideas anyone?

try changing the channel your satellite uses, ie change to channel 45 on your receiver, then use auto set-up on lcd to scan thru available channels. it worked for me!
