Yes it works but it takes work and understanding plus knowing how to use a few programs. If you mess up the Pansat can be used as a door stopper. |

Again i give step by step instructions with my pansat's. I also give phone support when needed. They are all pre-programmed so you do not have to flash it or anything. I'm telling you now don't use STB Gtools to load the channels do a scan. Yes I'm a programmer. follow these instructions : Try these settings on the receiver Go to antenna set up and right arrow on ECHO7 and ECHO 6,8, then OK and in ECHO 7(119) set lnb type-Standard Loq freq- 11250 22khz-OFF DiseqC-Tone A or #1 Lnb power(if apply)-ON Positioner-Disable in ECHO 6,8(110) same as above but DiseqC-Tone B or #2 Now you need to go to MENU and scroll down to TP/Edit and edit ECHO 7 and ECHO 6,8 Tps. You need to change all Horizontal polarity to Vertical due to the fact that Dish Pro uses stacked technology(bandstacking scheme the IF frequency of the horizontal block is shifted upwards to vertical) They will need to be edited for example( just go to Menu-Installaytion-Tp/edit and set all to V) then subtract all horiz. transps. frecuencies from 25600. enter result as your new transp freq. (IE. on sat 119 transp 6 is 12297h. doing the subtraction, you get 13303. So change transp 6 to 13303). This is needed because dishpro lnbs use an oscilator that runs at 25600mhz. this is mixed with the horizontal transp freqs and new freqs are generated. Edited tps will be as follow. 1=12224,V,20000 2=13361,V,20000 3=12253,V,20000 4=13332,V,20000 5=12282,V,20000 6=13303,V,20000 7=12311,V,20000 8=13274,V,20000 9=12341,V,20000 10=13245,V,20000 11=12370,V,20000 12=13216,V,20000 13=12399,V,20000 14=13186,V,20000 15=12428,V,20000 16=13157,V,20000 17=12457,V,20000 18=13128,V,20000 19=12486,V,20000 20=13099,V,20000 21=12516,V,20000 22=13070,V,20000 23=12545,V,20000 24=13041,V,20000 25=12574,V,20000 26=13012,V,20000 27=12603,V,20000 28=12982,V,20000 29=12632,V,20000 30=12953,V,20000 31=12661,V,20000 32=12924,V,20000 Of course you do not need to edit a horizontal Tp if it doesnt exist in a sat.(I.E 119 has 21 tps only, so you must edit 12239(2), 12268(4), 12297(6), 12325(8), 12355(10), 12384(12), 12414(14), 12443(16), 12472(18), 12501(20) This will work for DN 61.5-110-119-148 and BEV 82, 91 and any Dish Pro Lnb. You can use a Dish 500 Pro to get BEV 82(nimiq2) and 91(nimiq1) After editing transponders you can scan your sats. -It is easier just to load a DishPro channel list with gtool. -You can open any channel list (no dish pro modified) with gtool, edit tps as shown above and then load new modified list. Tp 1= Do not change frequency Tp 2= Change 12239 to 13361. Change polarity to Vertical. Tp 3= Do not change frequency Tp 4= Change 12268 to 13332. Change polarity to Vertical. Tp 5= Do not change frequency Tp 6= Change 12297 to 13303. Change polarity to Vertical. Tp 7= Do not change frequency Tp 8= Change 12326 to 13274. Change polarity to Vertical. I just bought a pansat 2500a and flashed it... can't seem to pick up any channels... my picture quality is 0 and the signal is around 20-30's only? Anonymous | Don't know what kind of dish u have but more than likely it's a 500, and some have the disqe switch built in and they will not work with fta.If it has one big fat lnb, it will not work,if it has 2 lnbs side by side it will work,but u have to use that disqe switch that came with your pansat,and yes hook it up the way u said,but bring the 2 sats in seperatly,then put on your switch |

Placed the order and we were told 2 to 5 day delivery still nothing and this is 4 weeks later. We posted on the forum what was going on their were about 30 other people having the same problem. Unregistered guest | I have a fortec ultra box and a direct tv dish with 3 heads and 4 connectors. currently I get all the channels on echo 7 and echo 6,8...except the channels on H transponders. When I do a transponder check it shows I am getting 99 quality on V transponders and 0 on H transponders...I have a place for 4 cables on the lnb so I hooked up 4 cables to the 4 places on the diseqc switch..but still dont get any H Tp...please help..email fitz67@aol.com |

largo key Unregistered guest | frank...U cannot use pansat if the dish is still pointed as it was with DTV..and with any pansat (FTA receiver) , its not that easy...U must read forums,guides,do updates and stay "up" on this...its not a 1 time set it and forget it.. LOTS of reading and learning to do! |
