Does anybody have any tips for reducing glare from indirect light? My protective screen just grabs too much glare during the day, and taking it off seems a little to dangerous for me until my warranty is up. |
chinese poet Unregistered guest | visionclearusa or www.glarebusters.com they sell glare spray. some independent companys sell anti glare shields like mightyshield. or you can buy acyrlic sheeting coated with a anti glare coating and replace the shield your tv came with. try nue vue .....it's not cheap and you have to replace the shield with the exact same size or light will leak into the side of your set. nue vue is basically the same acyrlic plastic used at muesums to cover paintings etc... no glare or reflection at all ,and it is coated with a optical spray to enhance contrast and color, stay away from dark tinted shields they dull the contrast and brightness, which means you have to crank up the bright and contrast and it will shorten the life of the bulb. that set looks great with no shield at all!! |
