RaveD Unregistered guest | I've narrowed down my choice to these two sets. The Samsung is about $500 more and has 6" less screen. I don't see rainbows, yet, but I'm worried that I might when I get it home and watch in the dark. The JVC has various quality issues, so I'd have to cross my fingers and hope for a good one. To my eyes, the picture is superb, almost as good as the Samsung except for the blacks. However, it has less inputs than the Sammy. Which would you choose, and why? I plan to watch HDTV digital cable, SDTV digital cable, and DVDs. |

RaveD Unregistered guest | If I sit about 9 feet from the TV is 52" too large? |

RaveD Unregistered guest | Thanks, that's good to know. It's already difficult convincing the wife to put the JVC into our furniture which has a 46" shelf for the TV (so the JVC will stick out a bit). I'd hate to get the TV only to hear her complain that it is too big |
