I'm going to purchase a new RPTV from one of the many internet merchants people have discussed in here, and I was just curious if people thought, when buying this route, that opting for the "White Glove" service is necessary. I'm tempted to pocket that extra $150 instead.
I mean, I don't see why I can't make the delivery guy wait an extra 30 seconds for me to open and inspect the TV before I sign. Otherwise I'll tell him I just won't sign and he'll have to lug it back.
Any input on how risky it is to forego the "White Glove" option would be appreciated.
So no one here has gotten the white glove treatment?

I got the white glove treatment once from a protologist, the glove was made of latex. I am relectant to offer more details on the experience other than to recommend you avoid it.
