Has anyone else experienced a strange video Halo problem with the Panasonic DMR-E100H? The problem happens when looking at any wash of color that graduates from dark to light (like stage lighting or a sunset.) Instead of seeing the light going from light to dark, The video processing turns a gradual darkening or lightening background into separate sections of darkness going from dark to light rather than a wash of color.. this causes a band-like effect similar to the look of the cover of Stevie Wonder's Innervisions LP ( if you have this CD, you know what I mean. Has anyone else noticed this? It almost looks like the old 80's effect used in 80's music videos. This very unwelcomed problem a real drag when you condsider that a $50 VRC at Wal-Mart wont ruin a sunset scene like this $900+ unit will. Any help will be greatly appreciated!
