Posted on I've been looking at the specs. for these two models and have decided on one or the other.
I'll be using it to record about six hrs per week of downconverted 480i material from a Samsung SIR T451 OTA-HDTV tuner.
I intend to do most of my recording to the HDD, I also might burn the occasional show to DVD.
I won't be using the player for DVD playback at all.
The 510's old news now but it can be had about $100.00 cheaper than the newer model. To my mind it also looks nicer and more solid.
User comments on either are welcomed.
What am I missing in not getting the latest model? |
