Hi everyone, I own Philips 42pf9965 plasma screen and philips 720sa dvd player. My question is; i have a component cable plugged between the tv and the dvd player. However when i turn on the progressive scan on the tv and the dvd, i get no reception only blank screen. However if i plug in the s-vhs cable at the same time with the component, i get progressive scan or so it says on the dvd player (blue progressive scan light is on). However only with the component cable connected i get nothing. With s-vhs cable i have normal scan but only with two cables at the same time i get progressive scan which i am not sure. Is this normal and is the progressive scan really on, in my system. Thanks in advance.
