Anonymous | I bought a used Hitachi Model # 31CX6B V6C018729 32" Crt TV. I press the power button after plugging it in and giving it it's own socket and I hear the click noise that usually happens before a TV pwoers on.. but then I get no picture or sound and nothing happens. I press the button again and it sounds like it shuts off. Just today I tried again by plugging it in and turning it on then it did the same thing only this time when I pressed power I heard it go click then TSS like a pop or crackling noise. The bottom was broken a little and might have hit the board on the bottom but nothing seems to be damaged. Also, is it a problem that I brought it home in the snow? There might have been a few snow drops that got inside. But it should have dried out by now. Please help me out here. What will repairs cost to replace a board? What is it that's really the problem? |

Anonymous | Model # is #PH02501. I have a few pictures if you want to see. There doesn't seem to be any damage.. I'm about to call a repairman to get a quote or see if he can tell me what is up. Anonymous | I left it unplugged for about 2 hrs and then plugged it back in. I pressed the power button once again and it made a noise like it was trying to start except it kept going on and off then finally shut off again. Any ideas? |
