Sony KDF55XS to Samsung DSS Receiver Probs

I have attempted to connect as follows:
SAT--DVI out to AR Adapter(DVI to HDMI) HDMI cable to input #7 (HDMI) on TV. Audio via RCA from SAT to Input 7 audio jacks. When I switch the source to Input#7 there is no video or sound.
Any suggestions???
