I just purchased the JVC 48" RPTV. I have been checking the convergence and every day it seems to need adjusting. Does my TV need a "break in" period like a car? I got the feeling from the manual that convergence shouldn't need adjusting that often. Any help is appreciated. Thank you all.

No, the convergence should not change unless the TV was moved.
However, you should wait until the TV has been on for over an hour before setting the convergence. The next time you turn the TV on allow it to warm up fully and then check the picture, if the problem re-appears call the store you purchased it from.
Good luck.

Not entirely accurate. Your TV should have about 100 total hours on it before you bother to make any detailed convergence adjustments. After that period it will stabilize but still need slight tweaking ocassionally even if the unit is never moved.
