I have a panny dmr-e50 that has just gone out of warranty, I recorded a program 2 days ago, using the recommended panny dvdram discs and now it won't do anything. I've just had to take the whole thing apart to retrieve the disc. If you press any button it comes out of stand by mode but wont allow you to anything at all. It returns to stand by mode after about 10 minutes. PLEASE HELP BEFORE I THROW THE DAMN THING, AND MYSELF OUT OF THE WINDOW!!!!
