After getting it home we noticed in transport a pretty big area of the Anti-Glare Diamond Shielde had been wiped off. How can I purshase a new shield or fix the one I have, I took the shield off for now and the picture is great, but I have 3 teenagers and would like the protection on the screen. Mitsubishi's website didnt offer a replacement and I searched the web to find one with no findings. Is it possible to buff off the anti-glare coating? It actually looks better without the shielde. Glare isnt really an issue with me since the room is pretty dark anyways. Any help with this problem would be appreciated. You can e-mail me at tamike1@cox.net Thanks Mike |

punkrocbob Unregistered guest | these people sell acrylic in sheets,it is carried by most glass service companies and glass wholesale warehouses.the name of the company is "tru vue" you can have it cut to the same size of the exsisting shield and install it. it is about $30.00 a foot! in my case it came to about $303 it is the same material used in famous art muesums for frames and art cases,it has NO reflection or glare.!! or you can look up mighty shield ,they custom cut and install their product for like $279. I have heard their product is very reflective!!! I went to the glass warehouse to see "tru vue" material and it is very impressive,so "tru vue" gets my vote. I have never seen a mighty shield ,I have only heard they are a rip off. hope this helps |
