A DVR with a DVD Recorder included 2. A DVR that has the capability of hooking up to a PC with a DVD Recorder so that I can record from the DVR to the PC/DVD+R All suggestions are welcomed. Thank you, Andrew |

I've never owned one with a DVD-R, but I owned a DirecTV Tivo which I hacked and installed a network card which enabled me to copy shows off the hard drive onto my PC and then onto DVD. It worked really good. The standalone Tivo has many more features which may allow you to do those things without hacking. The new Tivo2Go software lets you burn to DVD without any hacking! http://www.tivo.com/4.9.19.asp |
