Posted on 1024x768 (XGA) is better than 800x600 (SVGA) XGA or (even better)WXGA (1280x720) are both "high definition" XGA should do an excellent job displaying HD signals while WXGA will display current HD signals at the ultimate level Two things to keep in mind. 1. Many TV's instead of 720p use 1080i and they will also display HDTV at optimal levels 2. 1080p just arrived and will be extraordinarily expensive initially.
