I recently bought a DVD recorder. I have to hooked up through my satelitte, VCR and home theatre - everything is great, I can recoder from satelitte and from VCR. But what I can't figure out is how to hook up my DVD player - I have tried connecting it through TV & DVD recorder, but all I get is the sound, no picture. I double checked all my plugs and everything seems right. Any suggestions. Thanks

what make of dvr do you have ?but any how most dvr come with rca connection similiar to your vcr . when dvd is connected your dvr will have input selection L1/L2/L3 via remote .but you don't have enough input connection on your dvr then your still would be able to play dvd in your dvr good luck
I have a panasonic em 355 recorder and a jvc dvd player. How can I go about connecting the dvr and dvd player. Would I need to buy something speical for it to work?
