Anyone know about video stabilizers?

I want to copy DVDs to my DVD recorder. It's a Sony RDR-GX7. Is a video stabilizer the best way to go about doing this? If so, which one do you recommend? Is this the only way to bypass the copyright signal?

The best way is a burner for your computer.
