How high should I mount or table mount a 42" Plasma? I will be sitting abou 10-12 feet away.

Most people recommend that you DO NOT mount a TV yourself, especially if it is an expensive 42". I bought my 42" from best buy, and had them mount it for $400. Apparently, that is the going rate. Not only did they mount it, but they did all of the wiring and setup for my home theatre. This is highly recommended.
However, if you dare to mount it yourself, you should make sure that the mounting bracket is able to support a 42". Also, when mounting, be sure to drill the holes for the mounting bracket on the studs behind the wall for best support.
