Me: 90% of my TV watching is Netflix DVDs, the other 10% is occasional news or PBS for which I use a satellite dish. Time watching DVDs and TV is well under 10 hours per week on average.
Question: just how good of a TV do I really need, since the DVD format seems to create such awesome picture quality by itself?
Trying to decide right now between Toshiba 32" curved screen ($360) versus Panasonic 32" flat screen ($500) and Sony 32" flat screen ($550). Also wondering about JVC and Sharp, I don't usually think of these as reliable brands but a few people have told me differently.
Suggestions/advice? Alternative recommendations? My ceiling is $600, but I hope to keep a comfortable distance from that mark if possible.
