I'm looking to purchase an HDTV in the 56"-62" range. I will be ready to purchase in Novemeber and am currently leaning towards the HD2+ DLP technology. Anyone have some good suggestions of some recent models that I should take a look at? Thanks in advance.
Check out the JVC D-iLA sets. They have a 61" (HD-61Z575, HD-61z585, HD-61z795). It is a 3 chip LCoS system so you don't get any "rainbow effect" like you do with the DLPs. No a/v sync problems or other issues I've read about with some of the sammy DLPs. I have the 52" version and I've been very happy with the performance. It is my main TV and I use it for both HD and SD broadcasts, DVDs and video games. I chose it over the Toshiba, Mitsubishi and Samsung DLPs. I was positive I that I was going to buy a DLP but I ended up leaving with the JVC. I'm pretty sure no matter what you chose your going to get really good results. It all comes down to personal preference.

I think I'll give it a while to see all the complaints on the JVC.
