So if your trying to save buck and not be dissappointed, (dang.. I should have waited!) you might consider waiting. Of course, if a HDTV is not in your plans, it won't matter. Just wanted to share this info with you folks who didn't know. |

I imagine it will have the component and DVI outputs, since a HD signal can be carried through either output. Buy the way, there will be DVD movies in HD. Presently the only HD 1080i transfer is T2 Extreme, that is already released. I understand it is not really a true HD-DVD, though the picture looks great...much better than any I've seen. Its a telecine transfer, 24 frame per second high-definition digital. Many players use PureCinema which detects telecine transfers to adjust for best picture quality. |
