DVD Playback to Multiple TV's

I work for a school. We would like to put several TV's into our Cafeteria so that we could have internal video and external (TV/Cable) displayed at the same time on each set. We would also like to have a DVD in the mix. What would be the best way to connect these sets back to the main input, and would there need to be some kind of special hardware (besides splitters) like an amplifier or some type of converter to send the signal out to the sets?

I'm just starting to look at all the possiblities. This won't be a high-end system, but it will need to work reliably. Anyone have suggestions on what would be the best type of equipment for an application like this?

thanks

Channel Master makes equipment for distribution to multiple sources. I don't know if they make anything for DVDs, but they probably do.
