I have a Sony Drean System DAV-FC7 and a Sony 36 XBR. The dream has the built in progressive DVD and all the decoders. It has one component out and a couple of digital in and some composite in's as well. My question: if I have a sat receiver, do I hook the sat video and digital sound to the dream system with the composite inputs and then run the component out to the TV? Or, just run the sat video (component)straight to the tv, run the sat digital audio to the dream receiver and run the component (integrated dvd) to the TV? I do have two hi-def component inputs on the tv. My concern is this: I'd like to run everything through the drean reveiver, but I'm afraid that I'll lose the HD signal from the sat because it's coming into the drean receiver via composite jacks. Can the dream receiver take the composite sat signal and send it to the tv via component and still get Hi-def picture?
