Pioneer..not sure the exact model number but its about 2-3 years old. The package includes the DVD player/receiver, five speakers and sub plus a display unit that plugs into the the DVD player. I am concerned that a new DVD won't have the connections to plug into the sub or for the display.
What kind of audio inputs does the pioneer have? That should be your concern right now. Most decent DVD players will have 3 kinds of audio outputs, optical audio, digital coaxial and stereo. If your receiver can accept one of the digital outputs, then buying a new dvd player should be no problem.
