Avia HD DHT-610 home theatre surround sound system

Does anyone know how to hook up the surround sound speakers for the Avia HD DHT-610? It has jack hookups.I've never seen any surround sound system like this.My boyfriend got it at a thrift store.Please help before I throw it out the window!
