My Samsung LED TV has an optical audio output. So i connected the Audio optical out from TV to AVR Optical INi believe this is correct. i noticed the sound quality fading and coming back to its full potential, is this due to channel audio quality right or is it due to optical cable that i am missing something?
The DVD player is hooked up to the TV via HDMI cable, then based on above audio out from my TV to the AVR. I believe this is right connection, question is will the AVR be able to throw out true dolby surround sound?
Then i have the settop box which is hooked to TV for various channels for which the audio output is again from TV to AVR.
