Denon AVR 3808

David New member Username: Red01 Post Number: 1 Registered: Oct-11	Posted on Monday, October 24, 2011 - 08:31 GMT Hi all, Thanks in advance for your help, I have the following equipment- Denon AVR-3808 reciever Pioneer PDP-506HDG - 50" Plasma TIVO Definitive Technology front and centre speakers and 4 x rear speakers I will shortly be purchasing a blu-ray player with HDMI I would like to be able to connect them up to achieve the following- Watch TV without the reciever using the TIVO Watch Blu-ray I have it running now, but seem to have cables running everywhere to do it- optical, HDMI and normal cables Because the Denon is programable, what is the best way to go with the cable- HDMI, optical????? There has to be an easier way Cheers

I'm not sure in canada is tivo a pvr? why not hook up tivo directly to tv over hdmi therefore sound will come from tv or yes optical or coaxial cable will give you soon through speakers. why? theaudioguy.ca
