New member Username: YamahaboyOrland Park, Illinois USA Post Number: 5 Registered: Jul-04 | hey everyone it looks like were moving and were going to be putting a theater in our basement. so far i have picked out :-sony 3-way Floorstanding Speakers (Brand/Model: SON SSK90ED) -Polk In-Wall Speaker Pair (Brand/Model: PLK RC65I) -Infinity Center Channel Speaker (Brand/Model: INI PRIMUSC25BK) -Infinity 12" 300-watt Powered Subwoofer (Brand/Model: INI PS12BK) -sony 7.1 channel Dolby Digital EX/DTS ES Surround Sound Receiver (Brand/Model: SON STRDE995) all that comes out to around $2000 does anyone know of any prolbmes with this equipiment? anything better for the pice. i got all those from www.circuitcity.com ....how is that reciever? and i had a question on speaker placement....i was in my gf's theater and when u walk in you see the screen in frount with the left and right and then two subs below those (all in the wall) with the center channel in frount. the thing that confued me was that two of the surround speakers were in the walls really close to the screen. and then the next set of them were in the wall by the seating. i thought with 7.1 that you have some on the side of you and then in back of you. by the way this that theater was set up by professionals. any help would be great!
