Which sytem do you guys think is the best over all(movies&music)? 1. JBL - Northridge E Series 10" 250W Front-Firing Powered Subwoofer - Black Ash
2. Yamaha - 630W 6.1-Ch. A/V Home Theater Receiver - Silver HTR-5750
3. JBL - Northridge 3-Way Dual 6" Speaker (Each) - Black E80
4. JBL - Dual 5" Center-Channel Speaker EC25
5. JBL - Northridge 2-Way 4" Wall-Mountable Speakers (Pair) - Black .

Or number 2 is 1. Klipsch - Synergy Series 10" 225-Watt Subwoofer
2. Yamaha - 600W 6.1-Ch. A/V Home Theater Receiver - Black HTR-5740
3. Klipsch - 4" 2-Way Wall-Mount Surround Speakers - Black SS-.5
4. Klipsch - Synergy Series 6-1/2" 2-Way Floorstanding Speaker SF-1
5. Klipsch - Synergy Series Dual 4" 2-Way Speaker SC-5
These are at best buy and they are both listed for $1299.

Have you listened to this system? It all depends on the listener. Personally I would prefer the JBL over the Klipsch when paired with that particular Yamaha. It doesn't sound as shrill. Others would prefer the Klipsch and others would avoid any of the combo altogether. Listen and choose.

I agree the berny, buy what you like. If you like shopping at best buy try out the athena's I personaly like the match up, not as bright as the klipsh. I think they are cleaner than the JBL. But I grew up on very bright speakers.

I would avoid klipsch with yamaha, too bright. take fallsinquestion's advice and listen to the athenas. They are the best that Best Buy has to offer.
