Trouble With PS3 and surround sound

Mike New member Username: Moemore Post Number: 1 Registered: Dec-10	Posted on Sunday, December 12, 2010 - 02:46 GMT I cannot get audio to work thru surround receiver.I have a LED tv connected to cable box via HDMI cable. I have an additional HDMI cable ran for auxiliary components. I connected my PS3 to the HDMI and tried to watch movie with it. I have an older Sony surround receiver that doesn't have HDMI outputs so I have PS3 and cable box connected thru optical cables to my receiver. Tv works ok but my PS3 does not have audio thru receiver. Does anyone have any suggestions to what it may be, I have the receiver set to the right outputs thru the dial it just isn't working.
