I am willing to spend up to ~300 dollars for something but if i were to spend that kind of money I would want to make sure that I was getting something worthy. I live in a cluttered 15x20 dorm room and want something that will get loud with pretty good quality and bass that I can play an ipod/laptop with. I thought I had chosen until I learned i would need a receiver for my set up and then I realized I should look for help. So basically what is the best speaker system for such a room that I can get with a maximum of $300? (would be cool to spend less though if that seems like an unnecessary amount haha) I originally was gonna order this setup, but now im thinking it will not be worth the money. http://www.amazon.com/Polk-Audio-Monitor-Bookshelf-Speakers/dp/B0002ZSFTG http://www.amazon.com/Polk-Audio-10-Inch-Monitor-Subwoofer/dp/B0002KVQBA http://www.amazon.com/Sherwood-RX-4105-2-Channel-100-Watt-Receiver/dp/B0002EPWC0 |
