New member Username: Apollo007Post Number: 9 Registered: Apr-07 | I need some feedbacks for this setting up. I have a small living room (11'x13') with marble floor and glass all around except for the kitchen side. I ran all wires (speaker wires, subwoofer cable, HDMI, RCA, Toslink) in-wall during the construction of my home. My subwoofer cable is not CL rated so if I have to then I have to get ML Dynamo 700 (wireless). Entertainment cabinet is concealed in the wall in front of stair. 5.1 set up 5 Speakercraft AIM8 ONE speakers Martinlogan Dynamo 500 or 700 Pioneer VSX-30

Sub cable should be ok not cl/ft4 rated, dynamo is very good. I could not open your zip file , but the pioneer with the speakercraft should be fine. have you listened yet? theaudioguy.ca |

RCA - 35FT 5-RCA Component Video/Audio Coaxial RG-6 18AWG 750Ohm CL2 Rated Cable 6. Bass cable - Monster MB300 SW-36 7. Speaker wire - Monster THX 14 Gauge Speaker Wire In Wall CL3 @theaudioguy.ca I've listened to this set up but that was because the store presented it to me. I don't have any knowledge of good audio equipment/sound. They also show me Denon AVR1611, Pioneer VSX-33 and Pioneer VSX-30, ML Dynamo 500 & 700, ML Helos 20. That's all I listened too. And they just spec me with this set up (5.1 w/ five AIM8 ONE, Dynamo 500, VSX-33) I don't know if it is the best thing for my living room or not. Or am i wasting my money b/c my living room is too small and full of glass, not sufficent space to get it to work right. I have a budget of $2500 for everything (speakers, sub, and receiver). Thank you in advance for your time } |

Bronze Member Username: Apollo007Post Number: 12 Registered: Apr-07 | It is good to my ears and that's what worry me. Because I'm not an audiophile but want something good and don't know how a good sound supposed to sound like. I having been hearing enough to tell the difference. I only listen to those that I listened in showroom last week. But I can tell the different between non-angled and angled. Definitely need aimable in-ceiling ones. Thanks for your input Vince. I will look into denon. |

Audition you'll notice difference. Vince |
