I recently bought and LG LED HDTV (47lh90) and I am having trouble connecting it to my Philips Home Theater System (HTS3555). The TV has Optical out and the surround sound has coax in. So, I bought a CO2 bi-directional converter. I am not getting any sound and have no idea what to do. Is this converter not right?
Basically what I want to do is continue using the surround sound like I used to. On my old LCD I hooked everything up to it, XBOX, PS3 and cable box and could then hear it in surround sound from the home theater system.
hi only has one digital coaxial input? anything else?
tv optical out is the worst for sound.. do you have a cable box yes so hook up everything to reciever for sound and I doubt the philips has hdmi so connect video cables to tv or if philips does have hdmi in then use all hdmi out from all components that then one hdmi out to tv
doesn't sound very good can you take it back my recomendations will come
