Laptop audio out to DVD Home theater 777 Pioneer

Hi All
I have to plan to connect my laptop HP Pavilion dv1000, and 777 Pioneer DVD home theater.
Audio out from Laptop to DVD home theater.
Which cable can i use? 2 Female RCA cable is working?

Greetings Chris,

If you plan to take the audio out of your laptop from the headphone jack then the cable you need is called a 3.5mm stereo to RCA cable and looks like this:

u can use 3.5mm to rca cable to connect however u will have stereo sound at your home theatre not the full hd experience....

"FULL" HD experience would be digital but if the computer's sound card is analog then signals from the headphone jack carries the surround information.

Right now there are sound cards with coax output which are digital....some reatives and so many....u can google them...cheers :-)
