New member Username: KpaxPost Number: 1 Registered: Jan-10 | Need to get a HT system budget around 1200. Went and heard the demo of a lot of systems. really liked def tech pro 600 and mirage prestige nanostat. Def tech had a better bass but mirage was nice compact. Am really confused any suggestion between these 2 or any alternative systems I should be looking at. thx. |

New member Username: Razor2009Post Number: 1 Registered: Mar-10 | I have purchased a set of Klipsch Quintet speakers which has the FR,FL and Rear of 50w RMS and center of 75w RMS. Have shortlisted two recievers 1 Pioneer VSX 1019AH-K which has 120w per channel and 2 Denon AVR 1910 which has 90w per channel. As my speakers are more expensive than the reciever need some help in which reciever might be the best for the speakers mentioned....dont want to blow my speakers off.... Please suggest....am not an audio pile....thankx in advance |

The receiver manufacturers are claiming a peak value to promote how much power they supposedly have and the speakers are rated more as a minimum effective wattage because under powering them can be very damaging. Hope this helps and feel free next time to start a new thread! |

Thanks for your response......I saw mirage mx5.1 in action and was just blown away with the amazing room filling sound from this miniature babes.....When I checked with best buy they have a mirage nannosat 5.1 for about $300 less than mx5.1 Even the mirage website doesn't give any difference between these two models.....what do u guys think ??? Am not going to keep high volume levels and be kicked out of my apartment....If am not going to find any noticeable difference I'd like to settle for the nannosats...... PLEASE ADVICE thanks in advance. |
