The easiest thing to do would be to turn off the TV speakers, there should be no advantage to having them on. If that is not possible because your TV does not have such a setting then change the audio out connection out of your Sky box from your TV into your surround sound.

The problem is that your TV does not make a very good audio switch and there is a delay between the signal sent to its speakers and to the audio jack. The surround sound system was made to handle all of the audio and really doesn't need the help of the poor quality TV speakers.

Many receivers include an "audio delay" setting.

The delay will vary from channel to channel when using a cable box. it's determined by the amount of time spent compressing the video and how well the cable company and/or its channel providers match the audio and video timing. Most do a very poor job of it.

Devices fully compliant with HDMI v1.3a can automatically delay the audio to match the video. Not all of them actually do that, however.
