$4,000 bose lifestyle VS $1,000 any other

New member Username: MoskovPost Number: 1 Registered: Sep-09 | All you Bose haters and lovers, help me out.  We all know that Bose speakers are not the greatest, and their amps are not either. Just a fact, and thats fine. Would anyone suggest that the top of the line lifestyle system (lifestyle 48 or lifestyle v30) for $4,000 is not as good as a $500 to $1,000 HSU system or a similarly priced system from a real speaker company? Bronze Member Username: Vm8444Post Number: 93 Registered: Aug-05 | Bose lovers? you gotta be kidding me how about a good reason to have a 3 and a half inch driver for all your main frequencys except low bass therefore you are gonna have plenty of distortion . not to mention worst bang for the buck hsu will destroy it.... a 500 dollar 5.1 energy speaker syst. take 5, or any boston acoustics say the cs series with say the 790 denon reciever ... or the orb speakers on this page with say marantz nr1501 reciever will smoke bose listen to them both and your ears will say the rest. theaudioguy.ca |
