My question is, how on earth should I go about connecting this all up?
Does HDMI replace my DVI, if so from where is it connected (The more detail the better)?
How is my GPU connected to the screen?
Once I've set it up, should I only use HDAV mode in the Xonar control center? Or Optical/Analog still?
Can I use HDMI for everything? Games/Media?
Do I need special resolution or something set when i'm using HDMI?
If I'm connected via HDMI should i get a bigger screen? is 1080p a bigger resolution? e.g. wont pixelate a huge screen with a low display resolution?
I don't mind buying more connectors if i don't have the necessary or best ones at the moment.
Anyways thanks in advance for any help... at the moment i just have my speakers connected via Optical and Analog to the Xonar, and switch input on the speaker control panel depending on Media, screen is DVI to GPU
Just want to know what to hook up and to where for best results!
Edit: My hardware, if this helps.
