Im little confused.(newbie to this stuff) I have just got XBOX 360 which comes with a Component HD AV Cable + has a HDMI connector . I want to be able to have 5.1 sounds from my Onkyo TX-SR605 . Silver Member Username: MccambleyBREEZY POINT, NY USA Post Number: 678 Registered: Jun-05 | Because of the TV I am going to recommend Video from the X-BOX directly to the TV and using an optical wire from the XBOX break out cable to the receiver for sound. You may need to activate the digital out put on the XBOX and assign the optical in on the Onkyo. If you had a TV with HDMI in then you would use the HDMI on the Onkyo. |
