Audio out to home theater thru DirecTV box??

akash Negi New member Username: Akashnegi Post Number: 1 Registered: May-09	Posted on Monday, May 18, 2009 - 23:22 GMT Hi, my TV (vizio vw37l-10a) does not have any audio out.. not even the optical out!! and i got a new Home theater system (panasonic SCPT 960).. which has all optical in .. and I also have a direcTV HD reciever which has an optical out. so is there any way to hear home theater sound in regular channels? by possibly connecting optical audio cable from set top box to home theater and then muting the TV while switching on the home theater in AUX mode? is this possible?
