Bronze Member Username: DmehlingPost Number: 16 Registered: Dec-08 | I purchased several years ago a receiver with six analog inputs for surround sound. But I only used it for stereo sound and never hooked up additional speakers. Now I want to use it for surround sound, but my new HDTV of course only has a digital output for sound. Is there any method or device I can use to get surround sound on my receiver from my TV? |

I am currently only watching digital broadcasts so I do not need a converter box. I'm trying to figure how to get 5.1 surround sound not standard two channel audio which would not be a problem if that's all I wanted. |
