I have a wall mounted TV. My PC is 10 feet away. My cable box is located under my PC. I have run HDMI cable from my TV monitor to the HDMI out on an HDMI switchbox. The digital cable box is connected to HDMI 1 slot on the switch box. The PC is connected to the HDMI 2 slot on the switchbox.
The TV is programmed HDMI 1 and 2 according to their external devices i. e HDMI 1 is cable and it works!! HDMI 2 should be the PC however I have the option of cable, DVD, PVR, DBS or AUX( to choose from the TV options), and I am not sure what to tag for the PC??) I have tried all of them and they do not work.
I cannot view any videos, either off the PC or from the video component of the PC on the TV.
