they are still the best looking speaker system I've ever seen. I kind of keen on design. I also know they might sound a bit clumsy or trashy but...may I add any other spekear to solve out this issue? May be if I add 2 bookshelf speakers -at the expense of costs- I can help it work better, still having good design and finally build up a 7.1 system.
If you are more concerned with look than function it is very likely that you will be very happy using Bose. They are highly regarded in some circles and some wouldn't trade them for anything. Speaking strictly for myself I always try to steer my customers away from Bose because I can get equal or better sound for a lot less money but if that is what they want (even if it is just to impress the neighbors) that is what we go with and they sound just fine.
jim have you ever heard of episode speakers some one on craigs list had them for sale i could not find any reviews. just thier web site. but i am thinking they might be a scam. any advice?
Not to steal this thread or anything but no, I haven't heard of Episode. If they are a scam someone has certainly gone to a lot of trouble on their website. It looks pretty good.
If I were you though I would make sure to leave a pig tail on the wire before I cut it (a substantial length still left with the connector) so when you splice it back together you have something to work with.
